- Sony Ericson has officially launched its W8 Walkman smartphone for the Indian market. This is the first Android based smartphone in the Walkman series. The phone is available via Reliance GSM at a price Rs.9,995/-
- It features a 7.6 cm(3-inch) TFT capacitive touchscreen display, a 3.15 mega-pixel camera with VGA video recording at 30 fps, a 600MHz and Android 2.1, topped with a Timescape UI.
- The Phone also has an integral memory of up to 128 MB, which can be extended up to 16 GB. Around 50 songs and 12+ Videos come pre-loaded with the phone. The handset is available in azure,
